A time tested and proven strategy to elevate your blog to the status of authority site is to have a ton of good content.
So many of us are focused on creating new content that we neglect to promote quality content that we created months or years ago.
Blog traffic guru, Don Crowther, contributed an excellent blog post on how to drive traffic to your old posts.
Here are seven ways he suggested with an eighth I think should definitely be in the mix:
- Create “Best of” posts
- Upgrade your posts
- Add video to it
- Build internal links to each post
- Get offsite links to old posts
- Promote old posts through social media
- Email it to your optin list
- Make hyperlinked blog comments
(Make meaningful comments on other blogs that have a hyperlink to a relevant old post).
