As of this post only Google gets more traffic than Facebook.

Obviously then, it would be highly valuable to find some way to benefit from all that traffic.

Internet marketing guru, Jack Humphrey, observed on his latest podcast how difficult it can be to get Facebook users to leave the site, even if it is just to read a blog post.

This is where your blog’s RSS feed comes in.

Take the following 8 steps to add your RSS feed to Facebook.

  1. List your blog with NetworkedBlogs

  2. Log in to Facebook

  3. Click on “Applications” from the left menu

  4. Click the “NetworkedBlogs” link

  5. Click the “Profile” link from the top menu

  6. In the “Blogs I Write” box click your blog’s title

  7. Click the “Feed Settings” link on the right

  8. Put a check in the “Personal Facebook Profile” box

Maybe, someday Facebook will become user friendly, but until then. . . .
