The Egyptian Revolution But
There Is Great Risk In
Facing This Crucial Issue
OK. Here is the key issue that has to be faced in this dynamic Egyptian revolution unfolding:
Who is going to be held accountable for the crimes committed during the Mubarak regime??
This includes crimes like torture and murder, but also financial crimes.
I have seen media reports recently that estimate the Mubarak family wealth at between 40 and 70 billion dollars (US).
Maybe the Mubaraks are just good businessmen or got lucky and this accumulated wealth is all legitimate (lol).
Will Mubarak be put on trial once he leaves office?? Or be extradited from a foreign land??
And the same questions should be applied to those around Mubarak set to succeed him (Omar Suleiman,etc.).
