Fatten Your Bank Account With
Income From A Gold Mine You
Already Control Which Is The
Inventory Of Your Old Blog Posts
Most of us start out blogging not knowing a whole lot about how to monetize our blogs.
I plead guilty to that one.
As a result we often build up an inventory (sometimes very extensive) of old blog posts that have not been fully exploited for maximum income potential.
The basic cure for this weakness is a very simple and direct strategy:
Offer highly relevant affiliate products at appropriate places within your blog posts.
I hope everyone realizes that a significant amount of your blog traffic is coming to old posts.
We want to first focus on old blog posts we know are getting traffic (look in your logs, Google Analytics, or recent blog comments).
I'm going to assume you're fully capable of finding suitable affiliate products, but you also need to find ones that have appropriate displays banners.
Free Ad Management Resource
Try using this free tool Adqore to insert your 728 X 90 display ad at the appropriate spot of your blog post.
If You Have Related Posts
I hope by now you have "Related Posts" listed after every current post you make on your blog.
Try inserting a banner ad for a highly relevant affiliate product in the middle of the list.
All of these steps will generate a steady source of income if you have a significant number of old posts to monetize.
Consumer Notice: This is an affiliate ad supported blog. That means if you buy something from a link or ad on this site, or based on my recommendation, either expressed or implied, I may get paid an affiliate commission. Helps to pay the bills.
